Godsmack, Thin Lizzy & Led Zep

GodsmackOk I don’t why but I’ve ignored this band for so many years… now I love them. I’ve found out again about them thanks to the radio Pandora.com and they’re gorgeous.

I can’t stop listening to songs like Keep Away and Awake… it’s a powerful metal… not too heavy, not too trashy, not too nothing. It’s an excellent balance of powerful music… wish I hadn’t ignored them now… They remind about my old times of Machine Head, Soil and Disturbed.

Anyway,

I was walking back form work today and I swear I think I’ve seen John Sykes… I was with a workmate and I think he’s still laughing about my reaction… my mouth fell open as soon as I turned my head to my left and had a quick look in the pub…

And there he was….with his blonde blonde hair, sat in the corner of the quiet pub…

It must have been him, coz it’s unique… I’m dying of curiosity now… I wish I had had the guts to go in and ask him a question… but no… My mind froze completely and my friends giggling and laughing dragged me to the nearest underground station… uff! Uff!

RAISING SANDAt the end of the day the saddest thing of them all… An interview on Channel4 News with Robert Plant. I don’t know if I more sad coz of Plant disregards towards this one-off re-union gig or the close-to-useless interview conducted by the journalist (of course not by John Snow, I’m sure he would have asked more tricky and snappy questions…).

Plant went ooooooooooooooooon and oooooooooooooooooon about his latest collaboration with this country girl and he almost didn’t mention the biggest event in rock history of this new century: HIS re-union with HIS band… what a sad sad world!!
